Dr. Michelle Johns, Ph.D. 
Dr. Avivah Bat'Avraham, Ph.D.

Michelle's Hebrew name is Avivah Bat'Avraham. This was the name that was chosen during her conversion. Her written works will use these names interchangeably. 

Michelle was water immersed into Messiah Yeshua in 2006, and six months after her immersion, she began walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. She has attended Messianic, Reformed, and Conservative synagogues over the years. For 18 years, Michelle has been an observer of the instruction set in or by Written and Living Torah. 


Michelle Johns is an alumna of: Bossier Parish Community College where she received her Associates of Arts in General Studies, Judaic Studies Institute where she received her Associates of Judaic Studies, Louisiana State University at Shreveport where she received her Bachelors of Arts in General Studies, the University of Louisiana at Monroe where she received her Masters of Arts in Criminal Justice, and the Judaic Studies Institute Yeshiva where she received her Ph.D. in Judaic Studies. 

Her love for the Torah and teaching led her to her current career path. She is currently an Instructor of Criminal Justice at a University. She formerly taught language courses at the Judaic Studies Institute. In her spare time, she writes books to edify and encourage the body of Yeshua.
